charisma

I would like a working definition on charisma. Will someone please describe "charisma" to me?

I'm just wondering because one of my good friends told me they liked me because I had a lot of charisma. I do know what the textbook definition is, but I just don't get it. Perhaps, my friend did not know the definition.

Someone with charisma is generally likeable by default; warm, friendly, engaging, with an ability to make you feel that you are interesting and important to them, or (more in the case of leaders) that by following them you will be involved in something worthy and important.
